When Our Lady appeared at Fátima in 1917, she identified herself as "the Lady of the Rosary" and asked the three children to pray the rosary every day for peace in the world. This wasn't a passing instruction — it became the spiritual heart of her entire message. Every subsequent apparition reinforced it, and the final apparition on October 13, 1917 (witnessed by 70,000 people at the Miracle of the Sun) included the Blessed Virgin holding a rosary.
